Certified Coast Guard Auxiliary vessel examiners will be at Kelly Park East in Merritt Island from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, July 5. They'll confirm all essential equipment is present and in good working condition. Needed items include registration, PFDs, visual distress signals, sound-producing devices, fire extinguishers, and working navigation lights.![]()

Vessels that pass receive a 2024 decal. The Coast Guard Auxiliary DOES NOT report boats that fail to pass. They DO provide a list of items that need to be corrected. Hope to see you there!
